Lastly, the leaker adds that the Grand Theft Auto IV remaster will be bereft of multiplayer elements and focus on single-player. That is quite a long wait to play a then fifteen-year-old game, but it's not like there's a new Grand Theft Auto game due anytime soon.
It will be bundled with the 'Episodes from Liberty City' (and presumably the other) DLC and will hit storefronts sometime in 2023. Twitter user RalphsValve has heard from sources that Grand Theft Auto IV will be remastered for PC, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and, interestingly enough, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, too. If a leak from an industry insider is to be believed, we could be seeing a remastered version of Grand Theft Auto IV in the not-too-distant future. Grand Theft Auto V has spanned across three consoles generations, so it's only fair that its predecessor gets a new breath of life. With the first three Grand Theft Auto games all set to receive a fresh coat of paint, it's time to shift focus to the fourth game in the series, Grand Theft Auto IV.
